Scientists, a new mission has arrived! 🚨

This week you will become Nutrition Detectives and your task is to investigate how food helps our body stay healthy and strong. But be careful… not all foods are as healthy as they seem! 👀

In the challenge on the blog, you will have to:
🥗 Discover what a balanced diet really is.
🔎 Identify the difference between food and nutrients.
⚡ Investigate macronutrients and micronutrients.
🚦 Analyse food labels and detect foods with empty calories.
🧠 Solve tricky questions to prove you are real science detectives.

💡 Remember: the best detectives read carefully, think before answering and use what we learned in class.

🏆 Your mission: complete the challenge and show that you are an expert in healthy eating!

🎮 New Learning Game in Natural Science!

Today we played “Hospital Emergency: Junk Food Attack”, an arcade-style game where students become doctors defending a hospital from unhealthy food aliens. 👩‍⚕️🚀🍔

To save their patients, students had to answer questions about:

• Healthy habits

• Balanced diet

• Nutrients

• Food groups

Each correct answer helped them defeat the junk food enemies and move to the next challenge. If they chose the wrong answer or took too long, the enemies moved closer to the hospital!

This activity helped students review key concepts from our Natural Science unit on Healthy Living in a fun and interactive way while also practicing quick thinking and teamwork.

Learning through play makes science even more exciting! 🌱🧠

🩺 Hospital Diagnosis – Learning Through Play

In our Natural Science class, students became doctors for a day with our new interactive game, “Hospital Diagnosis.”

Patients arrived at the hospital with different problems related to diet and healthy habits, and our young doctors had to diagnose them correctly to help them recover.

To cure each patient, students answered questions about:
🥦 Healthy habits
🍎 Balanced diet
💪 Nutrients and their functions
🥗 Food groups

Every correct diagnosis helped the patient recover and allowed the doctors to move to the next challenge. The goal was to save all the patients and keep the hospital running!

This activity helped students review key concepts from our Natural Science unit on Healthy Living while practicing critical thinking in a fun and interactive way.
